Saturday, there’s going to be a huge show at Ground Zero (the basement of Nugent Hall). Resident strongman Ryan Jenkins will be opening up with Blair Neal and Kyle McDonald in On A Scale of 1 to 10, followed by the ever classy Red Lions and the super pop/super awesome/super lazzzzzzer Charlie Everywhere.
The headliner, who’s apparently played with Todd before, is Slow Six, an amazing ensemble of violins, keys, drums and guitars. They played here last semester, and were absolutely amazing. They use those sampling and looping techniques we’ve been learning so much about, so it might be a great show to review. Hope to see everyone there.

but did you realize that itunes can actually do this?
I mean, not that you NEED to do it this way anymore, but if you’re caught in a pinch or need to teach someone else how to simply edit audio…
I don’t know, maybe it’s a no-brainer anyway, just lemme know if it’s helpful.

Thanks Jesse, I’ll annotate this post rather than posting again… a quick ebay search for ‘circuit-bent’ brings these results, so you can see that circuit bending can actually be LUCrativo as well…Oh, and that other ‘toy’ I mentioned that is great for bending? it’s the Musini. And of course, loads more fun to bend than to buy, so DON’T spend your money, and I hope this doesn’t become a distraction, lol!Maybe I’ll bring Reed’s Book in for fun on the break next week. Once again, thanks for posting, Jesse.
